The Committee is in the process of resurrecting the OHJ Rifle Club, and are eager to hear from any Ojs who either shot whilst at Hurst or who have taken up target rifle shooting since leaving school, as we are keen to increase our membership numbers.

The Club concentrates on full-bore Target Rifle Shooting at Bisley (and Match Rifle), including the PS Veterans team match and the Imperial Meeting. We would also like to reactivate the annual small-bore match against the school on St. Etheldreda's Day.

The Club is affiliated to the NRA and does have some kit which can be lent to members.

Traditionally, the club also sponsors a student to enter the full-bore Imperial Meeting at Bisley and act as mentors and a friendly face for help and advice to new shooters. Members of the committee can often be found in the North London Rifle Club during the full-bore season and the Imperial meeting.
